Wedding Portraits

Simon is occasionally commissioned to produce exquisite pencil drawings from favourite wedding photos, commissioned both by the couples and as special gifts from family and friends as an evocative artwork to remind them of their
special day.

Pencil is the ideal medium for wedding portraits as it is soft, subtle, classy and timeless. The three pictures below display three very different types of image; a formal portrait, an action scene, and in informal candid embrace. In each case the drawing has been worked in a different way to compliment the desired image; a well-worked portrait, a sketchy scene, and a minimalistic informal subtle drawing capturing the moment.
